Introducing our online dance courses, where you can learn at your own pace and from the comfort of your own home. Now, distance and busy schedules are no longer a barrier to pursuing your passion for dance.
Here’s how our online dance classes work:
- Our studio classes are streamed live via Zoom, allowing you to participate in real-time.
- You can ask questions and interact with your teachers through the chat option during the live class.
- If the class timing is not convenient for you, don’t worry! All classes are recorded and available for replay throughout the entire course duration.
- Learn at your own pace by watching the class recordings. You can rewind, replay, and pause whenever you need.
- Join our community by gaining access to a private WhatsApp group. This group encourages communication and engagement with your fellow classmates and teacher.

- 8:20pm – Bhangra (Beginner) by Sonya
- SATURDAY
- 10:30am – Garba (Beginner) by Ashwini
- 11:45am – Semi-Classical (Beginner) by Ashwini
We follow Australian Eastern Standard Time (changes to Australian Eastern Daylight Time from 1 October 2023) for our class timings. The prices displayed are in Australian Dollars, but you can choose to pay in your local currency when finalizing the payment.
At Studio J, our top priority is to provide quality Indian dance education. We stand by our teachers and classes 100%. If you attend a full course without missing any live classes and find that you’re unable to learn the dance routine, we offer a full refund. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we want to ensure you have a positive learning experience.
Please note that to be eligible for our Dance Guarantee, you must attend all live online classes in the full course. This allows our teachers to address any difficulties you may have with the dance steps.
We do not offer refunds or credits for missed classes or absences. However, if a course is canceled due to insufficient enrollments, a full refund will be provided to students already enrolled.
In the event of unavoidable circumstances such as closure due to disease, government or health department direction, Studio J Dance may not be able to meet its obligations or may only partially fulfill them. We will make every effort to provide rescheduled classes or courses. If rescheduling is not possible, a credit or refund may be issued at the discretion of management, taking into consideration the hardships faced by Studio J Dance.
Please note that participants must be 18 years or older to enroll in our in-studio courses. Children aged 12 and above can participate in our online beginner level courses, except for Intermediate, Advanced, Bolly-Heels, and Bolly-Diva courses. Enrollments for minors must be completed under a guardian or parent’s name.
Safety is important to us, and we encourage you to take medical precautions before starting our online dance classes. Not all exercises are suitable for everyone, and there may be special cautions for individuals who are pregnant, injured, disabled, or have specific health or physical conditions. We advise seeking medical advice regarding any modifications or precautions before starting the classes.
By participating in our online program, you understand and assume the risks associated with dance and release Studio J Dance from any claims or causes of action arising out of the activities. If you experience pain or discomfort during exercise, please stop immediately and consult a doctor.
Ensure you have a safe area to dance in, with enough space and no slippery or tripping hazards.
